My balance is quite good, and I aim to maintain it. These classes assist with balance-enhancing exercises and also help improve my general strength.
I highly recommend Stay Up and Go Physio classes for any older individuals in our communities.

After each session we are encouraged to enjoy a chat over a cup of tea and a delicious cake or slice cooked by Angela.

I started my first class with Stay Up and Go Physio 1 year ago and I am still going and enjoying and benefitting from the classes. The classes were recommended 1.5 years after I broke my left thigh bone. At first, I was limping and struggling to stay upright and keep my balance. After 2 months in hospital and rehab my leg muscles had wasted, and I was experiencing further falls. Due to the exercises I do in the class my leg is so much stronger, my mobility has improved so much, and I am no longer susceptible to losing my balance and falls. The classes are highly enjoyable with great music. The 2 physios are very professional, kind and supportive. The other participants are friendly and enthusiastic - a great group of people. We share morning tea after the class with freshly baked cake (thank you to Angela.) I get to meet and interact with a nice group of people. An hour well spent. Roma.
